Hello all you nobodies out there, Katrina here.
I was wondering if anybody had some ideas that they would like to explore for the imput of our retreat in January. Maybe there is a theme you are interested in, or a speaker you have heard from or a book you would like to explore. I suppose the way to do it would be to add a comment to this blog thingy. Of course only one thing will be the ultimate direction, but I find it usefull to think about thing that I would like to learn about anyway. Hope you are all well.
Blessings

Katrina,
I'm only good at the broad brush stuff so I'll have to rely on someone else to fill in the detail.

Hi Katrina,
I wonder whether with our retreat being the first one for the year whether it might be a helpful thing to integrate a celebration/reflection for what has been ie last year and to look towards the New Year with renewed hope...to look at our hopes and dreams etc and to find ways/means of being sustained/refreshed/inspired.
I always find Erwin Mcmanus book "The Barbarian Way" to be encouraging/inspiring. Perhaps this could be integrated at some point either in January or at some other point throughout the year?
I don't know whether this helps or not - just a few initial random thoughts.
Take care,
AKJ
Hi AKJ
So who wrote the blog? It feels funny writing to a group knowing you all but not being able to direct my thoughts to you individually. Ah the blessings of the internet!
I haven't encountered that book the barbarian way. what is it about? And could I have a look at it?
I too feel that time of the year a great time of reflection celebration and goal setting thanks for the ideas,
Adam i got the e-mail and will get back to you soon.
Blessings
